FOR NORA...FROM NADER

FROM MSNBC:

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg could be the first modern independent candidate to break the stranglehold the two major parties have on the White House, two-time candidate Ralph Nader said Thursday.

If it's Obama and McCain, he'd be absolutely foolish to run. Also, I'm confused. If no one has enough electoral votes in a 3 way race, there's no way an independent can win when it goes to the Congress, right? I just don't see how he could win 270 electoral votes...(or whatever that exact number is!)

I'm really hating on him right now. He's basically a Dem by national standards and we've got an abundance of good candidates on our side this time. It stinks of ego and hubris to me...
